Terms of Service

These Terms are a plain-language draft prepared by the Provider. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before going into production.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Travolp — an AI-assisted trip-planning platform — including the Travolp website, mobile apps, and APIs (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Two ways you might use Travolp

The Service is used by two kinds of customers:

Travelers — individuals who sign up directly at travolp.priorli.com (or our successor domain) to plan their own trips.
Travel agencies and their tourists — Travolp is also a white-label platform. A travel agency may license Travolp and operate a branded version of the apps and website on its own domain. Tourists of that agency use the agency-branded product.

These Terms apply to both uses, except where a section is marked as agency-specific or traveler-specific.

When you use an agency-branded version of Travolp, your relationship with the agency for trip content, payments, and customer service is governed by your contract with the agency. Priorli Oy remains responsible for operating the underlying platform.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required to consent to use online services in your country (whichever is higher). If you create an account on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us at contact@priorli.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. AI-generated content

The Service uses large language models (currently from Anthropic and OpenAI — see the Privacy Policy for the current list) to generate trip itineraries, suggestions, summaries, and similar content ("AI Output").

You acknowledge that:

AI Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Place names, opening hours, prices, transport schedules, visa requirements, and safety conditions can all be wrong.
You should independently verify any AI Output you intend to rely on for travel — especially for bookings, border crossings, health, or safety decisions.
We don't guarantee that AI Output is unique to you. Different users might receive similar suggestions.
You're responsible for what you do with AI Output.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you put into Travolp — trip plans, notes, photos, messages, location history, and similar ("Your Content").

You grant Priorli Oy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content for the limited purpose of providing the Service to you and the people you've shared with (group members, agency planners, etc.). This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate operational reasons (e.g., short-term backups).

You confirm that Your Content does not infringe anyone else's rights and that you have permission to upload it. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to:

Break the law, infringe someone else's rights, or harass other users;
Upload malware, attempt to break into other accounts, or interfere with the Service's operation;
Scrape, mirror, or build a competing product from our data;
Use AI features to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or designed to mislead other users (e.g., fake itineraries to defraud someone);
Resell the Service, except under a separate agency licence with us.

7. White-label agency use

If you are a travel agency licensing Travolp under a separate written agreement with Priorli Oy, that agreement controls the commercial terms (fees, term, SLA, branding). These Terms still apply to your day-to-day use of the platform as a layer underneath.

If you are a tourist using an agency-branded version of Travolp, please direct trip-related questions, booking changes, and refund requests to your travel agency. Priorli Oy provides the technical platform; the agency is your point of contact for the travel service itself.

8. Fees

The traveler product is currently free to use. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, we'll give you reasonable notice and the option to stop using the affected features without charge.

Agencies pay licensing fees under their separate agreement.

9. Beta / preview features

We may label some features as "beta", "preview", "experimental" or similar. These features may change, break, or be removed without notice. Don't rely on them for anything critical.

10. Service availability

We try to keep the Service running reliably, but we don't promise uninterrupted availability. We may pause the Service for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. We'll try to give notice for planned downtime.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that the Service or AI Output will be accurate, reliable, error-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Finnish or EU law — in particular, your rights as a consumer under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (38/1978) and EU consumer law remain unaffected.

12. Liability

Subject to section 11, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Priorli Oy for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) one hundred euros (€100).

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

We are not liable for the conduct of third parties — including travel agencies using Travolp as a white-label platform, third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, transport, etc.), or other users.

13. Term and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the app settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if your use poses a security or operational risk. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice first.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (Your Content licence for residual backups, liability, governing law, etc.) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we'll notify you (e.g., by email or in-app notice) and give you a reasonable opportunity to review them before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes means you accept them.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also have the protections of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

Disputes will be resolved by the District Court of Helsinki (Helsingin käräjäoikeus), unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to sue in your local courts.

EU consumers can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr or contact the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta).
